South Amboy hosts events at various locations, indoor and outdoor throughout the City. World-class concerts, arts programs, workshops, and festivals are all here under one big sky and within easy access of the NJ Transit Train Station.

SOUTH AMBOY YMCA – 200 John T. O’Leary Blvd.

COMMUNITY THEATER OF SOUTH AMBOY – 200 Gov. Harold G. Hoffman Plaza  located on the campus of South Amboy Middle High School. The theater has its own entrance and parking lot.

Directions to Community Theater of South Amboy

From Bordentown Ave: Make a right at the traffic light onto S. Broadway. Follow to stop sign (see YMCA across the street). At stop sign turn left onto John T. O’Leary Blvd. – cross railroad tracks. On the left you will see a chain link fence and a field…that is the back of the school campus. Follow the road around the left curve and turn left into the parking lot. Theater is located around the back of the buildings. It has its own parking lot and entrance.

From Main St: Drive through downtown area all the way on Broadway. Go through traffic light on S. Broadway. Follow to stop sign (see YMCA across the street). At stop sign turn left onto John T. For pre-show dining,  visit Sciortino’s Harbor Lights located at 132 S. Broadway, South Amboy, NJ 08879. Phone: 732-721-8788. Additional parking in lot next to gas station. When leaving Sciortino’s, turn right onto S. Broadway (restaurant should be on your right) and follow directions.
